Our family has participated in our town's annual HOG JOG for many years! Here's last year's version (here). Our family has been in our local paper 2x! It's such a great family event!
This morning was no exception! Jon pushed Henry and Laney while he ran the 10K (6 miles) with his dad. Pre-race.

Jon said that sweet Henry slept the whole race. And Laney? She waved to all of the spectators along the route!

Emily and I planned to run the 2 mile race, but she's been out of training commission since her tonsillectomy. Next year we are in though!

AND SHE WON!

She did such a wonderful job (around 6th place, and the first girl), especially since just having surgery!
The girls may have been more excited to receive their ribbons and free ice cream!
