My Very First SURPRISE Party

Little did I know that my husband and 6 of my dear friends were in on a little secret.

It's very hard to surprise me...VERY!

I was absolutely SHOCKED when Jon and I stopped by our friends' (Alyssa and Rob) home and everyone yelled SURPRISE! What fun!

Alyssa and Rob made amazing appetizers and a fab pasta meal! Rob helped Alyssa make her first homemade strawberry pie (they used fresh strawberries from their garden)! YUMMY! And my SIL Suzanne made a rockin' pound cake! Needless to say, we ate well...very well!

The guys. The gals. Jon and precious baby Aspen! Oh the crazy faces I make! Crazy face to sweet Lacey! Crazy face to baby Aspen! And just a few shots of the Klatte's beautiful log home! After our wonderful meal, we toured the Klatte's super cool garden beds! They have their very own FARMER'S MARKET in their yard! Ha! Love it! Soon, we all ventured downstairs and tried our voices out to the Klatte's wii ! American Idol OMG...it's my new love! The guys enjoyed the obstacle courses! I had the best, best evening with my friends!Thanks to Alyssa for setting up the whole surprise...and to everyone else for helping me celebrate #36! Who knew that turning 36 could be so much fun?! I still cannot believe that I was surprised! So THAT is what it feels like...what a hoot!
