Making A SPLASH

My dear friend's oldest had soccer practice tonight.
We took her sweet boys, Quinn and Aspen, since it was a million degrees.
A million degrees on a soccer field...no trees...doesn't sound fun.

We tried to keep it cool here at our pad.
I spent some time at the kitchen sink, preparing the BOMBS! Jon's ginormous water balloon launcher came out. Back in his college days, Jon and his frat brothers would sit on top of the frat house and launch balloons at serenading sororities!
Nothing like getting dressed up, going over to a fraternity, hoping to meet someone special, starting to sing outside, then WHAM! Hit by a water balloon going about 50mph! Yes, my guy rocks!

The kiddos had a lot of fun launching! Kids were even falling out of their shoes! Henry even decided to get into the water action... Clothes and all.
His diaper was soon the size of Texas! Whoa! Some hoops for the boys in between sprinkler fun. Baby Aspen loved watching, but wasn't too sure about water logged Emily! After a bit of water fun, the kiddos stayed cool with ice cream and a movie! Just another COOL summer evening!

  4. The kids are holding the wrong part of the water balloon launcher. They should hold the black covering on the handle. The way they are holding it in the picture it could come apart and snap back. fyi =P.
