We polished off our last weekend of summer.
A fun Saturday night birthday party...a lovely Sunday visit with grandparents.
Sunday night started a new routine.
A little School Eve gift for Emily and cousin Megan.
A book filled with funny school poems created giggles before bed.
Emily was up at 6:30 this morning, smiling ear to ear.
Second Grade...she was so ready!
There was an extra hop in her step, and her words were sing-song.
Little sister was excited to take Emily into her 2nd grade classroom.
Henry, Laney and I walked Emily to her classroom.
Emily couldn't wait to leave me to join her friends inside.
I'm so happy that she was happy. And...I am so happy that I did not CRY! My first year! Finally!
Now back home, it seems quiet without my oldest. What to do without her? Laney, Henry and I are going to have a fun day though...Today's a new day, a new routine!
And it's a new routine for everyone!
My routine started at 5:45 this morning.
Every day this week will lead to something new.
I'm going to post my daily outfits this week, showing that YES, I AM READY TO CONQUER!
Here's today's FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL outfit.
