Looking UP

It's another Thursday night...

ALMOST TIME TO CELEBRATE THE WEEKEND!

Last Thursday night, I was a bit of a train wreck.

Much anticipated doctor appointments and a sick child.

I didn't realize then what THIS week would bring.

All three kiddos (all at different times) have been sick...fever.

BUT... tests came back A.OK! Whoo hoo!

Everyone is healthy and ready for a long weekend!

Yes, I'm quite a little worrier.

Tonight Emily said that there is a book called Walter Worries.

She then said that I was Walter.

I think Jon gave her a high five for that one.

So, for now, I will push all worries away.

I will think of what makes me smile...

This beautiful boy had his first Dum-Dum sucker today!

I put the sucker in his mouth.

Nothing.

Then....eyes went wide and a HUGE GRIN!

Yes, this is my sweet baby...we love our sugar!

It's been a rainy evening...

full of playing, giggling, bubbly baths, reading, snuggling...

and full blown laughter...the kind that creates silence and you just shake as the tears run down your face.

Earlier, I sat for a moment...just to take in the wonderful day...

deep breathing...

watching nature.

There is not one single day that I do not take our amazing woods for granted.

And my thoughts went to...

Thursday night...time to start celebrating...

Vanilla Coffee with 2 sugars?

Hot chocolate?

Mike's Hard Lemonade?

Or just a nice bowl of ice cream?
