Anyone Up For A Party? Or A Run?

Last night, we hosted Laney's 5th birthday party!

It was a family party!

The hostess getting everyone into position....

This lasted about an hour!

I curled Laney's hair for the occasion. CRAZY hair!

A gal down the road makes the most DELICIOUS cakes!

Seriously...I've NEVER come across another cake that tastes so YUM!

A birthday wish from Laney's close friend! Ha!

Laney requested spaghetti and meatballs!

Oh how my whole kitchen smelled like fantastic garlic bread! MMMMM!

I made little goodie bags for the children.

I put each child's name on a bucket and stuffed in a paper tablet, pens, pencil holders and silly bands.

Underneath, I wrapped a little surprise as well...

Each girl received a Webkins Halloween outfit!

(Henry received silverware and a wonderful touch and feel book!)

They are 10 weeks apart.

They will be in the same grade.

And Cousin Madison just lives down the lane!

Every other word out of Laney's mouth is MADISON!!!!!

This morning our little town hosted it's first 1/2 marathon!

I bundled the kiddos up and we waited near the finish line!

Yeah...Jon and his dad finished together!

Jon's cousin who is a HS senior...

He ran in with Jon and his dad...

You would think that his legs would be tired...

since he qualified for state (cross country) yesterday!

Whohoo to our family runners!
