Girlfriend Friday

The anticipation of FRIDAY...

It's like a bunch of little ones crouched down....

And once Friday comes...

YIPPEE!

All of the little ones spring out, cheering and chatting every which way!

Oh, hooray for Friday's!

Here are all of the little ones down the lane...

ready to spring out....and cheer for our wonderful Friday!

And this particular Friday was extra special...

Sacco even got out her Halloween scarf!

My dear, dear girlfriends Alyssa and Kristen came out for a visit!

Their sweet baby boys joined them.

Coffee cake and coffee while chatting...

potato soup and rolls while chatting...

no bake PEANUT BUTTER cookies while chatting...

OH HOW I LOVE MY GIRLS!
They make my days brighter, heart bigger and laugh louder.

And my sweet Henry...he takes after his momma....he was Mr. Food Cop!

He kept tabs on the goods.

The others knew where to go if they needed a little pick me up. They especially loved the FOUR POUND CONTAINER OF ANIMAL CRACKERS! Mmmmm!

While we kept the party going inside, Jon took the day off and worked outside...Mr. Pressure Washer!

The playset, and all of our concrete thanks him for the much needed cleaning! As the temps got warmer, we all drifted outside to enjoy.

The fuzzy worms are out and about...

entertaining Laney throughout the afternoon. A cute fuzzy worm to THIS NASTINESS!

Jon found this snake in the woods...and I'm definitely thinking it is poisionous!

Look at it's head (spade shape) and it's hissing and trying to strike!

Okay, so it's probably NOT a python like I shouted out, but it definitely isn't just a plain garter snake.

Yikes!

Snake aside, this Friday was so fantastic.

My girlfriends were here...I love having them so close.

My husband was home....I super love the days he is here with us.

The weather was perfect (high 70s/low 80s)...

and...

to top it off...an evening of kite flying.

Here's to a great weekend start!
