Pumpkins Here, Pumpkins There

Pumpkin Patch...here we come!

Today after soccer, Jon and I loaded up the children and decided to take advantage of our unseasonal October weather (high 80's).

The girls squealed in delight as we drove in.

Henry just LOVED driving the display tractor.

Hey Santa...if you're reading...Henry REALLY wants that tractor!

The girls really got a kick out of it too!

And I'm thinking Daddy had some fun as well!

HAY RIDE!

Jon told me that wagon rides weren't too fun for him when he was younger.

He lived on a farm and wagon rides meant bailing hay!

Bummer!

I've always LOVED hay rides!

Jon gave everyone on the ride a little tidbit...

We were riding in straw, not hay!

Who knew?

After our great ride,

Laney tried to milk a cow!

Then Emily...

And finally...

tag team milking!

My sweet prince just enjoyed watching everything around him!
Then we ventured over to the petting zoo (my favorite).

The girls loved this little beauty.

Her name: Barbie.

Her twin, Ken, was next door.

And my favorites?

I'll put these dear angels on MY Christmas list!

Overall, the burlap bag slides ROCKED!

Emily wasn't as competitive...she smiled a lot more along the way.

Then this crazy guy decided to join the races!

Soon it was time for the barrel ride!

She was so in love.

So sweet!

After her ride, it was time to pick a little art pumpkin!

Emily crafted a pumpkin for Henry while Laney rode her pony.

Soon the girls were having fun creating their own pumpkin art!

While the girls crafted, my baby was doing a bit of this!

While Laney finished her pumpkin, Emily tried her hands at pottery!

She loved it so much!

Queen of the hay!? Straw?

Better ask my hubs.

And finally...FACE PAINTING!

This is sooooo my next gig.

Kiddos were lined up around the corner!

I always paint the girls' faces...

I NEED to start a face painting business!

Our family pumpkin patch trip was amazing!

The children were hot, tired and excited!

It was so much fun just watching them enjoy!

Our day was quite successful....

at least we have Christmas list ideas....

a tractor, a pony, donkeys and a pottery wheel....

and it all started with a little family trip to the pumpkin patch!
