Cozy Time

Just another autumn evening...

The temps have been up here, but we are a bit ready to hunker down.

Yesterday after school, the girls helped me bake some AMAZING...

pumpkin bread!

I believe Emily ate a 1/2 loaf and her baby brother polished off the other half!

And some Christmas art orders are already wrapped and ready to go to the post!

Baking...wrapping...

getting all cozy while watching SANTA BUDDIES...

such a nice evening.

And since it gets dark so darn early now,

we turn on our outside lights...

still want to enjoy nature at it's best!

We are always peeking out...waiting for a neighbor to show up...

and sure enough...

here's our EARLY BIRD!

The girls were oohhing and aahhing...

I went out to take it's photo.

I think it knew me...

because it even turned and smiled.

So cute...

and even better?

It's little brother or sister came a bit LATER....

it was the size of my hand...

and it's ears? The size of my hand! BIG!
