Singing and Laughter

Today Emily had her 2nd Grade Christmas play!

Jon went to the morning session.

Laney and I went to the afternoon session.

Here I am sporting my new $5 dress!

NEW for $5!!!!!!!!

Emily was the play narrator.

She did an excellent job!

She said she had a lot of fun...

and maybe just maybe...

perhaps she will try out for future plays!

Cousin Megan was Mrs. Claus. She did a super job!

Laney was so proud of her big sister!

I'm going to brag...

We always have a great family turnout for events.

Grandparents, great-grandparents...

We are like groupies.

I absolutely LOVE it...

family...

that is what it is all about!

Parents were allowed to take their children home early...

so once we were home...

Jon and my BIL Kyle had the four girls ready to go....

SLEDDING AND TUBING!

The first of the year!

My girls were ecstatic!

Jon gifted the girls with new snow goggles!

To keep the snow...out of their eyes!

My parents brought over their old four wheeler.

The four wheeler we've had since I was Emily's age!

Dad even pumped up some inner tubes!

Jon had a lot of fun driving...

but those girls...

just FLEW!

Kyle attached spulled sleds from his 4 wheeler!

Four little girls and 2 adult men...guess who had more fun?

And my sweet Henry? He stayed warm with me...

watching all of the fun up and down our lane!

Hot cocoa and pizza followed!

And yep, my family is now thawed out....

cozy next to the fire!
