Round Three

It all started with a little email from my sister- in- law titled NOTICE.

My SIL Suzanne told me that I had 2 weeks to become familiar and up to date with the books and/or movies...If I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and go to the movies for the 3rd installment.

I had no desire. Jon tivoed the first movie quite some time ago. No interest. The main character? Didn't get the hype. Not even cute.

It would be fun to go to the movies with my friends though.

So...Sunday I got on the treadmill and watched the first hour. WHOA! I got up at 6am on Monday...down on the treadmill...finished movie 1. Last night....started the 2nd movie. Finished it this morning at 6am while on the treadmill.

I almost wish I never would have even started that first movie, because now I am a:

TWIHARD!

Yes, I said it!

Vampires? Zero interest. Teenage love? Been there about 20 years ago and not remotely interested in going back (maybe I would for cute vampires and werewolves). BUT...How in the world can a vampire be so darn dreamy? Yes....I am....
Although Jacob is not too bad to look at, he's still too young for this momma of 3. At least Edward is technically like 109 years old.

Hubs went after work yesterday to get these. Tickets for the first showing on Saturday!
I'm giddy!
Who will Bella pick?

Oh....and that Jasper character is quite enchanting too!

** My SIL might not like the world knowing that she is a momma Twihard surrounded by all the teenage crowd. She may be upset with me for letting the CAT OUT OF THE BAG...but she won't be upset for long....I have her movie ticket! HA!

So...any other TWIHARDS out there?

Memory Box Art

My wonderful friend Jennifer asked me to create a keepsake box for her God daughter's Baptism! Baby Sophie will be able to keep all of her memorabilia inside!

I had so much fun creating this gift! Many hours and cold coffee's later...PRESTO! And the bee? I thought it would be fun to add in a bit of her nursery decor that I painted a few years ago!

So BEEutiful!

Rub A Dub Dub

There's a cutie pie in the tub! Oh how Henry enjoyed his bath!
And his two older sisters and cousins enjoyed helping out too!

Oh how I just love bath giggles!

Water Fun

What is summer without some cool refreshing WATER?
Yesterday we went to a pool party at my BIL's parents' home! There were 4 families, and boy did we all have a great time...children and adults! Pool fun and a cookout...screams SUMMER to me!
The older girls (Emily on cousin Megan and friend Morgan). The younger girls (Laney and cousin Madison). Go, Laney, go! My 4 year old is just learning to swim! Sweet Henry enjoyed the water, but definitely enjoyed snacking so much more! YUM! All of the kiddos were in bed 15 minutes after we arrived at home...exhausted from such FUN!
Today we spent some time at home. Our future basketball pad was just paved last week! Progress! While the kiddos and I were enjoying some outside time.......Jon arrived in OLD BLUE! Time to mulch! Old Blue is one of his dad's farm trucks. Jon wanted to take the girls for a ride in it, but NO...I'm not into letting my children ride in a truck that has holes in the bottom...so you can see the ROAD as you ride along! Ha!
Later this afternoon we all went over to my parents' home for a little family reunion. My dad is one of 8 and 4 of his siblings were home visiting...along with my grandparents and cousins! Em loved her hand me down bikes from some cousins! The bikes will stay at Mimi and Papa's home! My wonderful grill master! And his little sidekick! Peek-a-boo! Laney was checking out boaters along the water! And water....Jon and I took out my parents' kayaks and it was pure BLISS! Of course I don't have any pictures!
Right before we came home, dear Laney slipped and hit her head on concrete! She had a goose egg, so.... tonight, Dr. Jon wrapped it up in ice. Big sister Emily read her stories....so sweet! She is feeling fine, but we are watching her and will continue to do so throughout the night.
What a fun, fun water weekend!

Camp T Family Night

Last night we traveled over to Camp T for a nice dessert social! Laney and I made some fun Camp T cookies to take! Emily, Laney and cousin Madison loved all of the goodies! Little Day Campers Emily and cousin Megan! Daddy and Em enjoying the program. And what to do at camp? For Laney it's playing in the mud and a bit of playground swinging! And Henry likes to crawl on the playground fun and enjoys a little hike! Emily enjoys the sites! Yesterday was a great day...a first for everyone in our family...

Laney...swam by herself across the pool in the deep end! (I don't have a pix because I was too excited watching her!)

Emily...horseback riding at camp! Her very large horse was named Minnie! (Photo courtesy Camp T)

Henry...had a babysitter all to himself! He loathed waiting outside in the hot sun during swim lessons, so our sitter Karlee watched him! He loved her!

And our whole family had a first at Camp T, especially our little day camper! (photos courtesy Camp T)

Splish Splash

After a long day of camp (Emily) and swim lessons (Laney), the children were ready for a trip to the park! After dinner, we loaded the family up! I ran the track while Jon played with the children. And look where my dear husband had them!!!! My sweet boy was loving the nasty water! Thinking that they needed to dry off a bit before getting into the truck, we went and played on the playground.
Laney loved swinging. Emily was a pro at the rings! Henry had so much fun going down the slide! The girls loved climbing UP the slides! Splish splashing in the mud puddles...oh the children had a ball! Yes, just like Henry's shirt says...life IS good! (We did strip all of the kiddos down for our short ride home...and right into a wonderful bubble bath they went!)
