2011: Day 1

On our way home from pizza last night,

Jon stopped at the grocery store.

He told everyone in our vehicle (our family plus Grandma)

that HE was going to make a yummy breakfast for the first day of 2011!

And he did indeed!

German pancakes!

A new recipe!
Puffy was even questioning who was making breakfast!

Breakfast was delicious!

Grandma came down and we all just enjoyed the great food and company...

and the beautiful SUNSHINE!


The kiddos played a bit more with their Christmas toys.

And relaxed a bit too...Tom and Jerry...a favorite!

Of course, silly play is a MUST!

Our dear friends traveled a few hours....

just to come visit!

Oh, we were all so excited!

Laney was ready to throw the door open and give each and every guest a handmade card!

We met Travis and Jennifer back in our college days.

They have two daughters and a son!

Funny how perfectly things work out!

Their little guy...sweet Jack!

The four girls picked up right where they left off back in August!
