Baking Up Some Fun

Yesterday, Emily attended her first after-school cooking class!
Oh how she just loved it!
(I'm not sure if she loved the actual class or riding the bus for the first time!)
They made fruit pizzas...a definite hit!
Here are Emily and all of her friends...
(Macey, Morgan, cousin Megan, Em and Isabella)
just a little shot I got off of my phone!

While my girl was cooking up town,

I was finishing some touches on a birthday cake for Jon!

He rang in #37, so I thought I would bake a special surprise for him.

I used this cake mold!

This is the same cake mold that his mom used when he was a little boy!

I cannot believe she kept it all these years!

The mold is dated 1980!

Well, a cute little 2 year old decided to NOT take a nap; therefore, I frosted the cake with Henry literally running around me and through my legs!

Make a wish!
The birthday boy with his three darling monkeys!

Guess Jon was ready for a REAL party... He brought home bags of balloons!
Of course, balloons = balloon FIGHT!!!!!!!

Henry wasn't into the battle, but oh how he horded those balloons under his crib!

Here's to a great birthday party!

Today it's snowing.
It will continue all day and into tomorrow.
Who knows what the grand total will be,
but I better get out the children's snow gear!
Have a great Tuesday!
