This morning...
Day 1 of the girls' 6 week basketball session.
Jon is coaching both girls!
Laney's session was first.

Cousin Madison plays too...
on another team...
coached by both of her parents.
Cousin Megan warming up...
getting ready for her session.
And here's Emily's "warm-up"! Ha!
This is the look you give your father when he tells you to actually come "warm-up"!
Tomorrow is the day that Jon and I met...18 years ago!
We were freshmen in college when we met at a fraternity party.
Romantic, huh?
Well, we decided to go on a date tonight!
So, we left our sleepy little town...
Drove on snow covered roads...
and had some fun in THE CITY!
We were having a grand time...
and then we got this text from our dear babysitter...
Our sweet sitter's mother used to babysit Jon....
I believe that Jon put a cat in the toilet though.
*****
Well, our date was great, that's a fact,
We just hope...
that our babysitter comes back!
Happy 18 years Jon!
ah look at your cute sporty girls love it! and i totally laughed at the text--haven't we all had that happen:) ah mommyhood!
ReplyDeleteSweet little athletes! How fun that he is their coach.
ReplyDeleteThat text is too funny ~ it could have been worse :)
Jo
We also started basketball. So much fun to watch. Love the sitter's text. Too funny. Happy Finding Jon Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteHOw cute your little basketball players are! How fun that their cousins play too!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that text, is hilarious! I was thinking it would say come home one of the kids threw up or something. Doll clothes in the toilet, not so bad. Unless that is a habit. :)
Sounds like a fun night out with your hubby regardless!
Hilarious!! Henry cracks me up!! I'm glad you had a great date! We missed b-ball sign ups so we're going to give softball a try. We've been doing gymnastics for a few years, but this is our first organized sport!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!!!! Thanks for the laugh! 18 years, awesome!!!! And basketball, we started too!!! As for WW, I sign up online and use it just to see how many point are in a food. Make sense? Then, I weigh in on Friday mornings. I'm getting back on it because I've been a BADBAD girl!!! I love WW because u don't feel like you are starving and you still get to eat yummy stuff.
