We are all stocked up with food...
just like our sweet neighbor Mr. Chickadee
who visited our feeder all day long!

And our other neighbor, Mr. Cardinal, stood post...
just as it...
STARTED TO SNOW!
And oh, WoW! Mr. Bluejay was stoked,
so he did his snow jumpin' jiggy jig...
The little ones and I decided to venture out into the white.
We started right at our "yard".
We own the land on both sides of this road...
Everyone knows to slow down here...
A furry animal is ALWAYS around!
We met up with this new friend.
I just stopped my vehicle, rolled down the window, and snapped away.
Big sweetie was VERY intrigued!
He just smiled and kept nodding his head at us!

Oh and this new love...
right there at the road's edge.
We made our way to our local library...
where dinosaurs awaited our arrival.
And ohhhh...
the books!
My sweet baby with the HAT HAIR...
After a little lunch, we were back home again...
still enjoying the snow.

Once big sister got home from school...
it was GREAT to see everyone curled up with new books!
While they enjoyed, I made homemade vegetable soup!
Grandma came down to join us...
a bubbling hot cherry pie in tow!
*****
Once the soup was slurped,
the pie devoured,
and the coffee sipped...
It was time to wind down...
BUT...A BIT OF A STIR WAS CREATED...
a slide off into the woods!
No, it wasn't me...

Thank goodness for a chainsaw and a tow strap...
two pretty cool guys...
And a story that will be told...many, many times!
Happy Thursday!
Great photos! Love the prep for yet another storm. The one with your daughter reading an American Girl book is so sweet!
