Our cold and snowy weather has brought a bunch of these.

I recently had a visitor and she couldn't believe how many bird friends were outside my windows!
Keeping a nice seed selection out doesn't hurt.
We counted 6 cardinals...3 couples...
and about 15 other birds.
This is my daily sight.
And it will never get old...
It's always wonderful to see color and animal movement in our little woods.
******
Watching the animals keeps my mind off the fact that we have a TON of snow...
It is currently -11 degrees...
There are 6 snow makeup days tacked onto the end of the school year...
It's all enough to make us climb the walls!!!!
Or the cabinets, in Henry's case.
Yes, he knows how to climb up onto the bread drawer!
The days of getting so much done have REALLY SLOWED DOWN for me lately.
This little peach is really testing his skills (and my sanity ~wink~)!
But, I'm looking on the bright side....
The children are snug in bed...
And they won't have to make this delay up!
Happy Thursday!
I'm off to feed the birds!
6 make up days! Wow. That picture of the bird is so pretty. And the smiley face made me smile. Good attitude. Keep lookin on the bright side Lauren! And stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteHenry makes me laugh... the eggs and now the cabinet! He is all boy and after two girly girls! Too cute! It's ultra cold here in TX, but no snow! Thank goodness or I really would be climbing the walls!
