HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR. SEUSS!
I have to admit that I'm not a huge Dr. Seuss fan...
but I do remember reading my very first Dr. Seuss book...
Green Eggs and Ham.
I was about Emily's age and I read it cover to cover to my cousin Jenny.
I do love what Dr. Seuss represents though...
creativity, imagination, freedom, fun.

Yesterday, VERY last minute, I decided to add some Dr. Seuss spice to our little family.
Using some wooden pins, I painted little THING 1 and THING 2 necklaces for the girls!

Since Emily got a new little shirt,
I went ahead and painted Laney's face!
walking into her preschool classroom with a HUGE smile!

And my little guy?
He's enjoying a bit of Dr. Seuss fun too!
And if there is ever a casting call for THE CAT IN THE HAT....

And if there is ever a casting call for THE CAT IN THE HAT....My sweet Puff Kitty is THE girl!

Last year we celebrated with some green eggs and ham,
but Emily's school is having a great Dr. Seuss themed lunch...
Laney thought we should still go with a kitty meal...
so we are resorting to another kitty...Garfield...LASAGNA DINNER!
Happy Dr. Seuss Day!
