You Say It's Your Birthday...

Our first REAL Spring weekend...

BLISS!

Yesterday was an absolute favorite.

Rain in the morning was fine.

I didn't feel guilty about getting my hair done then.

The whole family came with me...they ran errands.

The rain clouds went away and out came the sun...in the 70s!

Everyone down our lane threw open their doors and windows...

threw on shorts too!

Our lane was busy!

Children playing here and there...

We all hopped from one home to the next.

(Three homes are nestled in the woods down our lane...all family!)

And a PLUS?

An impromptu BBQ!

You know...no planning...just bring whatever you have!

We grilled burgers and hot dogs.

One brought ice cream and pie.

Another drinks and paper goods.

And all of our assorted chip bags...whew!

We all enjoyed until after the sun went down!

Yes, my favorite day of the year so far!

And if yesterday wasn't just grand...today was PURRR-fect!

Puff Kitty turned 13!

Today we let Puffy just relax in the sunlight...80+ degrees!

This evening we had a little cake for her.

Angel food, whipped topping and fruit.

Healthy, just like Puff.

(I always say that her human side would wear pearls and high heels...a real lady!)

The girls picked out some princess party fun!

Puff Kitty loved the princesses...not the fun! And the party favors?

Diamonds of course!

This guy wasn't into a girlie party...so he stayed near his dinosaurs! We all ate cake and enjoyed Puffy's #13! We all celebrated. Looks like everyone in our woods came out to celebrate with Puffy! Here's to my teenage kitty, the best gal ever! Hope you all also had a PURRR-fect weekend!
