Lunch Date

Yes, the Kentucky Derby is over...

but...

This little guy is LOVING his sister's hat!

(He won't wear any other hat!)

He was just preparing for our lunch date!

This afternoon we went out to my dear friend, Alyssa's home!

A couple of her city friends and their little guys joined us!

The highlight...

Feeding the horses!

Right when those horses saw us, they literally RAN over to greet us!

Laney and (mini) Cooper!

Dale (as in Clydesdale) is such a HAM!

He is so loving and wants all of the attention!

Henry loved him!

Silly Dale tried to eat Laney's hat!

We then took a little walk around Alyssa's yard!

It was 88 degrees, so I was ready to jump right into the pond!

I want to go vacation there! Ha!
And sweet Alyssa gave everyone homemade strawberry jam...just for coming out to visit!

Laney, the ARTIST, loved the project!

After our little outing, Henry was dog tired, so he had a great nap!

Laney and I chilled in the air conditioning (I loathe shutting up my house this early, but my kiddies and I have allergies right now! Ick!)

Oh...and the 88 degree temps?

My kiddos have been out all evening long...in bathing suits...soaking wet!

...and I just love that!
