These Days...

On Monday, we celebrated Sacco's 9th birthday!

Greyhounds have very delicate tummies, but you better believe that Sacco had her very first...

angel food cupcake!

One gulp.

Obviously, no tummy troubles! Yeah!

Her birthday gift...

(besides a party...everyone, yes, everyone down the lane came to celebrate!)

VERY expensive arthritis medicine!

Oh, she LOVED it!

Retired racing greyhounds LOOVVEE their arthritis meds!

And since our big doggie party, we've just been enjoying these days.
Until THIS happened to Henry this afternoon!

Poor baby!

(And we thought we babied him BEFORE his big boo-boo...)

It didn't take long for him to feel much better.

So...

tonight after dinner, we all went out to EMBRACE SPRING!

Looky who was out!

(This is NO zoom)

Right by the road!

About 80% of traffic slows or stops to peek!

I go right across the road with my zoom. People HAVE to think I'm a wee bit nuts!

Oh well!

I'm sure that THEY wouldn't make a little apple trail through the woods...

up towards our home...

hoping that the little pups find some play space in the woods, away from the road!
*****

The sweet pups may want to run and play in our amazing dandelion field though!

So we enjoyed...

a wonderful evening...

Jon learned 4 square from Emily and cousin Megan!

While my sweet, dirty boy, and his sucker pal and I explored.

And it was all song and dance for the girlies...

I'm thinking it cannot get better than THAT!
