My oldest baby finished her week at day camp...
absolutely LOVED it!
Yesterday, girlie was ready to sport a bandanna.
Told me just how she wanted it.
And it was such a throwback...
back to 1980, when MY mom used to sport her head bandanna!
My mom was sooo cool like that!
My mom was sooo cool like that!
And mom would pick me up from kindergarten, head bandanna, Jacki O. glasses, wedges, and terry cloth jumper...driving one of these:

ours was way cooler though...metallic blue with a white top...looked like a convertible!
Last night was family night at camp.
Each family was to take a dessert, so here were my smores cupcakes!

We got to meet Emily's counselors!
Each child receives an award.
Em's: FUTURE COUNSELOR!
Emily, cousin Megan and friends had such a good time singing camp songs!

The camp provides daily pix, so I got to see what my baby what doing!
Here's one of my favorites...Em with one of her counselors.
After family/dessert night, we left Emily at camp...
her first camp sleepover!
And where was my youngest babe?
RUNNING all over!
Our whole family took turns running after him!
(My parents, Jon's parents, Jon's gma and Suzanne and Kyle...whew!)
Here he is back at home...exhausted and loving his cookie snack!
Laney did miss her big sis, but we had our own version of CAMP here.
Our neighbors visited.
It was nice to enjoy an evening with them.
So today, butterfly Laney, Henry and I picked Emily up.
Em had a wonderful sleepover!
She did say how hot and humid camp was.
Sorry to tell you girl, but our home isn't too different from camp!
Looky what Jon had to install last night!
Temps are going to be in the 90s all weekend long....
and this is all we have until after the holiday weekend!
- Here's to a great week at camp!
- Here's to wishing that this little unit doesn't blow up because it can't keep up!
- Here's to a WONDERFUL 4th of July weekend!
