Terrific Tuesday

Hippotherapy seems to agree with my Henry.

Lil' guy is starting to get into the whole "riding a horse" gig.

Sitting up all the way and looking around.

Taking in his surroundings...enjoying.

His therapist, Ms. Lisa, had him look at his sisters and me.

(We were in the waiting room, behind the windows.)
Oh goodness, we were smiling and waving...really, really big...

and I got the start of it...

he looked at us and a FIRST....smiled!!!!!!!!!

Stripes the horse must really have magic powers.

Because whatever this horse is doing....it's working!

Guess someone else likes the horses too!
Mr. Kitty!
Looks just like our George...but (this is going to sound impossible....)bigger!
The horses had to walk AROUND Mr. Kitty!
Henry saw him and smirked!
Wonder if he thought Mr. Kitty was our George?!
The girls thought Mr. Kitty was a hoot.
They brought their American Girls and wanted to saddle them up on Mr. Kitty! Ha!

Needless to say, yesterday's session was fantastic!
Henry talked a lot more, listened and followed directions.
He even took turns while playing!
So, guess it's NOT impossible for a two year old to have patience!
We are so proud of Henry and excited about his progress.
And just how cool is it to ride a horse at 2.5 years?!

After therapy, we finished out the rest of our Tuesday routine...
Whole Foods, Trader Joe's.

It's nice to go into the "city".
But, oh how nice it is to get back home....
to country life.

An after dinner routine...cousins playing up and down the lane until dusk.

The girlies are a bit too fast and leave Henry in the dust.

But that's okay.

He has Mommy and Daddy...and his Toy Story friends!

And I see all boy in my youngest.

Loves rocks and dirt!

And while little mister and I were playing,

dear hubs was working on one of his 20,000 bikes.

Tire trouble.

Probably because he doesn't ride this bike.

Oh, Jon...shirtless, flip flops (with socks I might add)...

and popping wheelies on his hybrid bike.

Sorry ladies, he's taken.

Yep, definitely a keeper!

What a perfect Tuesday, we all had.

And to finish it up...after soaking in the bubble bath, my pruned up kiddies fell fast asleep in their beds.

Gave me a chance to sit on the screen porch, sip my sparkling berryade, chat with George and listen to the frogs throughout the woods.

Ahhhh...the life.
