Sometimes things just work...
and sometimes they don't.
Jon found this old Little People {vintage} set up in the loft.
Cleaned it all up...little peeps and all.
Oh WOW! Henry and his sisters have been IN LOVE with this oldie but goodie!
And yesterday, after a little family shopping trip, everyone found their groove.
But soon...I noticed the art room. Masterpieces and supplies left here and there...everywhere!
And someone else left all these dear friends hanging....
Giggles from the girls' bathroom.
Opened up and noticed the waiting room!
BEAUTY SALON!
Goodness, those girls slicked each other's hair down...
makeup galore (new gifts from the Home Goods kids section)!
And just today...
guess Henry wanted in on some salon sass too!
All over my bathroom, floor and walls...
bedroom...floor and walls...
Laney's whole bedding, walls, bed frame and carpet.
Seriously started hyperventilating when I found it all.
It is fixable.
I can say that now...after hours of thinking...and now that my breathing is semi stable.
But the day wasn't a total bust.
Got this yesterday at Home Goods...clearance aisle...double bonus!
So, it has a leak (I knew I should NEVER even stroll down that freaking clearance aisle!).
Hubs maybe fixed it though.
MAYBE.
So I sit,
reflecting on the day.
Tons and tons of crapola...
~including trying to maneuver pix on this crazy blog~
but...
there was good...
a lot of it...
and THAT'S all that I'm trying to think about!

Good attitude Lauren. I'm sorry about all the crapola, but I love that you can try to just focus on the good.
ReplyDeletemy girlies have that same shower curtain! (great minds...)
and snow?! Fun. but yeah, maybe not fun for months! lol, we can drive to big bear in about an hour in good weather. my gma has a cabin and it really is a fun trip.
have a great week Lauren!
Funny, feeling the same over here Sis!!! Love you!!!
ReplyDeleteOh the mischief of toddlers!! You have such a great attitude! You'll have to share the secret of how you get it out!! I love your girls all made up with their blue eyeshadow!! Looks like Henry just wanted to be like his big sisters!
ReplyDeleteha! looks like a day in my life:) I just discovered the local Home Goods store, and OH, my, GOODNESS! love:) The funny part is, I just know that when our kids are grown, it is going to be those fingernail polish disaster moments that are going to radiate and put a big old smile on our (hopefully not TOO wrinkled;) faces. Life is so good. loves
ReplyDeleteoh man--we have had a nail polish fiasco as well--such a mess! and i love your home goods find!
