My Christmas angel...complete.

Gal has a lotta meaning behind her.

This time last year...

anything but peaceful.

Right before Henry's diagnosis...

Right before I was introduced to his amazing school.

Had the weight of the world on my shoulders...

didn't have a ton of resources...

wasn't networked in.

And was scared to death...

because I didn't have a game plan for my son.

 

Well, more than a ton has changed since last November.

So much...just fell into place.

And AMAZING improvements...

leaps and bounds!

Three teachers/therapists who really are our angels.

Emily and Laney...teaching their brother...and celebrating his achievements.

His biggest cheerleaders...yes...they are also angels.

Sure are a lot of angels out there...

friends...family...strangers....

helped us all get to this...

PEACE.

Strong word for me...makes me smile....

free of worry and hurt.

Full of love, energy and carpe diem.

My Christmas angel...

hand sewn metal wings created from gutter fencing,

glitter, beads and crystals...to create a headdress.

twigs picked straight from our woods...

created little stars outta them.

There are 5 stars.

One for each member of our family.

the whole creative idea...

thought just jumped in my head.

Out came the paints...

and everything just fell into place.

Just like life has in the past year.

Creating peace.
